Dr. Manish Okade

Manish Okade working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Heading Computer & informatics Centre, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. He has several awards to his credit namely IBM’s ‘The Great Mind Challenge Award’ for mentoring student project in 2008, Microsoft India Research Travel Grant Award for his visit to Melbourne, Australia in 2012, Early Career Research Award, from SERB in 2016, 3 best paper awards for his students work at IEEE Techsym, 2014 and ICORT, DRDO, 2019 and 2021 conferences, member of the high level Indian delegation supported by MHRD, India which visited Tokyo, Japan as part of Sakura Science Exchange Program to establish research collaboration with Japanese Universities in Jan. 2020 etc. He is currently executing several research projects from SERB, Govt. of India, DRDO, Ministry of Defence in his research area of Video and Image analysis.
